JoyCraft ("we," "our," or "us") operates Chrome extensions including PostBoost AI, Promotify, CourseSpeed, and StreamEnhancer. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect minimal data:
- Extension usage data: We store your preferences (language, speed settings, quota usage) locally in Chrome's storage. This data never leaves your browser.
- API requests: When you use AI features, your product text or content prompts are sent to our API server for processing. Content is not stored after processing is complete.
- Payment verification: When verifying premium subscriptions, we transmit your subscription ID to our payment processor (Creem). We never see or store your payment card details.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- Personal identification information (name, email, address) — unless you contact support
- Browsing history or website content beyond the platforms our extensions support
- Payment card information — all payments are processed by Creem
- Location data or device identifiers
3. How We Use Information
- To provide AI generation services (captions, hashtags, content)
- To verify premium subscription status
- To enforce rate limits and quota limits
- To improve our services and debug issues
4. Data Storage & Security
All extension data is stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API. API request logs are retained for a maximum of 7 days for debugging purposes only. Server access is restricted to authorized personnel via SSH key authentication.
5. Third-Party Services
Our extensions use the following third-party services:
- UCloud / umodelverse.ai: AI model provider for content generation
- OpenAI: Fallback AI model provider
- Creem: Payment processing and subscription management
Each service has its own privacy policy. We only transmit the minimum data required for each service to function.
6. Your Rights
Since we collect minimal data and store it locally on your device, you can delete all stored data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing Chrome storage. For questions, contact us at support@joycraft.dev.
