We build small tools that make hidden costs visible
JoyCraft is a small independent team. We don't ship a roadmap of fifty features; we ship two tools, and each one started with a loss we kept watching happen.
Why CourseSpeed exists
You buy a course to change something — a skill, a career, a side income. Then you open it and see the runtime list: twenty hours, forty lectures, half of them recap. The platform's speed control stops well before the point where it would actually help, and the notes you take scatter across tabs and notebooks until finding one costs more time than rewatching.
CourseSpeed is our answer: sharper playback control where the platform's own player falls short, plus AI notes that stay attached to the lesson instead of drifting into a junk drawer. The goal is simple — the hours you paid for should go into learning, not sitting through playback.
Why CostPilot Pro exists
A store can look healthy and still lose money quietly. Orders climb, the dashboard shows revenue, and at month's end you try to reconstruct what's left after platform fees, payment fees, shipping, ads, and refunds — numbers that live in six different places and never agree with each other.
CostPilot Pro gathers those scattered costs against each order, so sellers can see true profit per order instead of guessing from a revenue line. Revenue tells you how busy your store is. Profit tells you whether it works.
How we build
Four commitments, applied to both products:
- Small and sharp. Each tool does one job. If a feature doesn't serve that job, it doesn't ship.
- Free to start. The core of each product works before you pay anything. Paid plans exist for people who want more, not as a gate.
- Data-minimized. Our sites collect what's needed to answer you and nothing beyond that. No ad pixels, no cross-site tracking, no accounts required to browse. The privacy policy lists exactly what we collect.
- Mechanisms in the open. Product pages state what each tool can and can't do, including the limits. Trust is built by saying "no" out loud.
Seller Tales, our publication
Seller Tales is our publication for e-commerce sellers — practical guides on profit, apps, and running a store. When a Seller Tales guide mentions one of our tools, the relationship is disclosed on the page. Read our seller guides on Seller Tales.
